Total Petrochemicals names R&D vice-president

HOUSTON, May 15 -- Total Petrochemicals USA Inc. has appointed Steve Pocsik vice-president, research and development.

Pocsik joined the company in 1984 as a process engineer at the Big Spring, Tex., refinery. He also served as operations manager at Big Spring and later at Port Arthur, Tex.

In July 2005, Pocsik was named vice-president, supply chain, a position he held until this latest appointment.
