Calvalley appoints chief operating officer

HOUSTON, Apr. 17 -- Calvalley Petroleum Inc. has appointed Memet Kont as chief operating officer.

Before joining Calvalley, Kont held positions at UBS Securities, Jennings Capital, McDaniel & Associates, and Geological Survey of Canada.
