SandRidge Energy appoints executive vice-president

HOUSTON, June 14 -- SandRidge Energy Inc., Oklahoma City, appointed David C. Lawler to executive vice-president, operations. Lawler most recently served as chief executive officer and president of PostRock Energy Corp.

Before joining PostRock, Lawler worked for Shell Exploration & Production Co. as engineering and operations manager for the US Gulf Coast.

SandRidge’s E&P activities are focused in the Permian basin, Midcontinent, West Texas Overthrust, East Texas Cotton Valley trend, Gulf Coast, and Gulf of Mexico.
