API official chosen to lead ANGA
Martin J. Durbin, currently executive vice-president at the American Petroleum Institute, will become president and chief executive of America’s Natural Gas Alliance effective May 1, ANGA announced.
As executive vice-president, Durbin has been responsible for integrating API’s government affairs, communications, policy, and legal initiatives.
He previously was vice-president of federal relations at the American Chemistry Council, and a legislative assistant for Democrats in both the US Senate and House, where he covered environment and energy-related issues.
Durbin will succeed Regina Hopper, who resigned in February.
