KCS Energy appoints vice-president, chief financial officer

HOUSTON, June 5 -- KCS Energy Inc., Houston, appointed Joseph T. Leary as vice-president and chief financial officer.

Leary has more than 18 years experience in oil and natural gas finance. From 1996 through 2002, he was vice-president, finance at EEX Corp., acquired by Newfield Exploration Co. (OGJ, June 10, 2002, p. 38).
