Superior Energy acquires Premier Oilfield Services

Superior Energy Services Inc., Harvey, La., has acquired Premier Oilfield Services Ltd., an oilfield equipment rental company based in Aberdeen. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

HOUSTON, Sept. 12 -- Superior Energy Services Inc., Harvey, La., has acquired Premier Oilfield Services Ltd., an oilfield equipment rental company based in Aberdeen. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Premier provides tubular handling equipment, drill pipe, tubing, downhole tools, and associated products for key oil and gas regions, including the North Sea and other European markets, northern Africa, and the Middle East.

Its 6.5-acre headquarters in Aberdeen features a fully automated tubular inspection facility.
