New firm acquires percentage of Bonnie View field in Texas

Whittier Energy Corp., Houston—a recent merger of Olympic Resources Ltd. subsidiary WEC Acquisition Inc., Vancouver, and Whittier Energy Co., Houston—has acquired from a private company a 62% working interest in Bonnie View oil and gas field in Refugio County, Tex. for $1.2 million. The field's gross production is 75 b/d of oil and 300 Mcfd of natural gas.
