SM Energy Co., Denver, hopes to sell its Williston basin properties outside a program in Divide County, ND.
Petri Partners is helping it with an offer of about 54,500 net acres, including properties it calls Raven/Bear Den in Williams and McKenzie counties.
SM has divested assets in New Mexico, North Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming with net production of 3,300 boe/d for net proceeds after adjustments and fees of $186.7 million.
The company is focusing on its Permian basin and operated Eagle Ford interests.
