Petrolifera to appoint Wine, Gusella to top spots

HOUSTON, Feb. 9 -- Petrolifera Petroleum Ltd., 61% owned by Connacher Oil & Gas Ltd., Calgary, plans to appoint Gary D. Wine as president.

Wine has been a geologist for more than 25 years with an emphasis on Peru and Argentina.

R.A. Gusella, president and CEO of Connacher, will become executive chairman of Petrolifera.
