Endeavour names vice-president of operations

Endeavour International Corp., Houston, named Clint D. Smith vice-president of operations for the North Sea-focused exploration and production company.

HOUSTON, May 9 -- Endeavour International Corp., Houston, named Clint D. Smith vice-president of operations for the North Sea-focused exploration and production company.

Smith will supervise the company's operational activities, including drilling and completions, development, and production functions, principally in the UK.

He has more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He has managed North Sea and European well operations and drilling for ConocoPhillips UK Ltd. and, before that, Phillips Petroleum Co. UK Ltd.
