HOUSTON, Mar. 21 -- Alliance Pipeline Ltd. of Calgary has named Murray Birch president and CEO of the company.
Birch, who served as Alliance's interim president since December 2004, has more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry. Most recently, he served as senior vice-president, business development, with Duke Energy Corp.
Birch also served as co-CEO of Foothills Pipe Lines Ltd. and on the executive committee for Vector Pipeline LP as well as on the board of Alliance Pipeline.
