Edmonton, Alta., has announced the appointment of Bernard C. Moore as president and chief operating officer.

Edmonton, Alta., has announced the appointment of Bernard C. Moore as president and chief operating officer. Harold A. Roozen will continue as chairman and CEO.

CCI Thermal Technologies Inc. provides advanced heating solutions from facilities across North America, manufacturing gas catalytic and electric explosion-proof heaters, thermostats, and oven systems.

Houston, has announced the opening of an office in Almaty, Kazakhstan, expanding the firm’s capabilities in oil and gas projects in the CIS. Staffed by six attorneys, the Almaty office will be headed by managing partner Kenneth E. Mack. Mack earned his BA degree from Hampshire College, a master’s from Columbia University, and his JD from Northeastern University.

Stutensee, Germany, is a new company established by parent companies, PipeCare AS, Norway, and NDT Systems & Services AG, Germany, to make multi-diameter inspection products and technologies developed by or on behalf of PipeCare available to the international pipeline industry.

Thomas Jung is chief executive officer of PIT, and Roger Vogel is chief operating officer.

PipeCare AS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Statoil ASA.

NDT Systems & Services AG is a globally-operating company providing a comprehensive range of in-line inspection services for pipelines.

Stabil Drill

Lafayette, La., has opened a full-service facility in Baku, Azerbaijan, to rent, repair, and maintain tools for projects in that country. The facility offers stabilizers, subs, hole openers, roller reamers, and non-mag drill collars.

Stabil Drill, a Superior Energy Services company, provides tools and services for the global oil and gas service industry.


Stavanger, has appointed Gregg Zemke as regional manager for Russia, based in Moscow, and Oscar Barrios as regional manager for Latin America, based in Caracas, Venezuela.

Zemke studied civil engineering at Michigan Technological University, and petroleum technology at Northwestern Michigan College. He has worked for Dowell Schlumberger, Treesavers International, Stinger Wellhead Protection, before joining Easywell.

Barrios is a petroleum engineering graduate of the University of Wyoming, earned a second degree in economics from the Universidad del Zulia in Venezuela, and received an MBA from Houston’s Letourneau University. His experience includes service with Otis Engineering, Schlumberger, and Weatherford.

Easywell is a new technology company specializing in novel reservoir completion products.
