Reports from offshore oil and gas operators compiled by the  US Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) indicate that 16.18%  of US Gulf of Mexico oil production, or 294,414 b/d, remains shut in as of  midday Sept. 23, following evacuations ahead of Hurricane Ida.
The report is the final update from the agency on evacuation  and shut-in production statistics for Hurricane Ida. 
That level is down from an event peak of around 95.65%, or  1,740,850 b/d, of total US gulf output on Aug. 29.
BSEE also estimates 24.27% of US gulf natural gas  production, or 541.12 MMcfd, remains shut in.
Personnel are evacuated from 31 production platforms, 5.54%  of the 560 manned platforms in the US gulf.
All nondynamically positioned rigs are currently operating  in the gulf. One dynamically positioned rig remains off location.
The survey is reflective of 19 companies’ reports as of  11:30 a.m. on Sept. 23.
