Inpex lets contract extension for Ichthys LNG

INPEX has let a contract extension to Expro to supply well test and subsea services for the Ichthys LNG project in Australia (OGJ Online, Dec. 13, 2018).

Expro will continue to supply a high-rate 175 million standard cfd well testing package, which will include enhanced electronic emergency shut down systems.

Expro also will also 7-3/8-in. high debris valves, developed as part of the Next Generation Landing String (NGLS) program, designed and tested to the industry’s new API 17G standard.

Work on the next phase of field development is due to commence March 2020.
