Premier farms in to blocks off Indonesia

Premier Oil PLC, London, has signed an agreement with Mubadala Petroleum, Abu Dhabi, to farm in for 20% participating interests to the Andaman I and South Andaman production sharing contracts offshore Indonesia (OGJ Online, Apr. 10, 2018).

The exploratory blocks, operated by Mubadala, are in the North Sumatra basin off Aceh. They’re adjacent to the Andaman II block operated by Premier with Mubadala as a 30% partner.

A 3D seismic survey was shot over all three blocks earlier this year.
