Equinor lets wireline, intervention contract for Norwegian Continental Shelf

Equinor ASA has let a 3-yr contract extension to Archer for wireline and intervention services on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The agreement builds on the integrated wireline contract originally awarded to Archer in 2021, the service provider said. While the original agreement included optional extension periods of three times 2 years, the current award represents a firm 3-year extension, Archer said. 

The extension represents a total contract value of about NOK 3 billion, with about half attributed to Archer and the remainder allocated to alliance partners.
