Vår Energi enters EPCI agreement for Gjøa area development

Vår Energi ASA has entered an engineering, procurement, construction, and installation agreement with TechnipFMC Norge AS for future subsea developments in the Gjøa area in the North Sea.
The agreement covers integrated execution of both SPS (subsea production systems) and SURF (subsea umbilicals, risers, and flowlines) work scopes in the Gjøa Nord, Cerisa, and Ofelia discoveries. The collaboration agreement is for 5 years with the possibility of extension.
Vår Energi is maturing these oil and gas discoveries for a planned subsea development which will be tied back to the Gjøa platform. If the license partners decide to proceed, the plan is to coordinate the three developments.
Gjøa Nord, Cerisa, and Ofelia discoveries are estimated to contain up to a total of 110 MMboe.
Vår Energi is operator (30%) in the PL153 Gjøa-Gjøa Nord license with partners Petoro (30%), Harbour Energy Norge AS (28%), and OKEA ASA (12%).
Vår Energi is operator (40%) in the PL 929 Ofelia license with partners Harbour Energy Norge AS (20%), Pandion Energy (20%), DNO (10%), and AkerBP (10%).
Vår Energi is operator (30%) in the PL636 Duva-Cerisa license with ORLEN (30%), INPEX Idemitsu (30%), and Sval Energi (10%).
