Lukoil-Engineering, wholly owned subsidiary of Lukoil Oil Co., and National Iranian Oil Co. signed a memorandum of understanding for joint subsurface studies.
The companies envision cooperating in basin modeling and analysis of petroleum systems of the northwest areas of the Persian Gulf, Abadan Plateau, and South Caspian basin, according to Lukoil.
