LONDON, Nov. 27 -- Anadarko Petroleum Corp., in partnership with StatoilHydro AS, has won two offshore blocks under Brazil's ninth licensing round. The blocks, CM529 and CM530, lie in 100 m of water.

The blocks lie in the Campos basin adjacent to Peregrino heavy oil field, in which StatoilHydro already holds a 50% interest. Production from Peregrino field should start in 2010.
