Petróleo Brasileiro SA (Petrobras) will invest $16 billion to renovate the Campos basin, offshore Brazil, with plans to install three new FPSOs and interconnect more than 100 oil rigs in the area over the next 5 years.

FPSOs Anita Gabribaldi and Anna Neri will be installed in Marlim field. Together they will be capable of producing up to 150,000 b/d. Maria Quitéria, the third planned unit, is in Jubarte, Parque das Baleias complex, in the capixaba portion of the basin, with capacity of 100,000 b/d.

In 2021, the basin accounted for about 25% of Petrobras' total production. The company expects to produce 900,000 boe from the basin by 2026.

According to its 2022-2026 strategic plan, Petrobras plans to add 20 billion boe to its reserves by 2030—5 billion from Campos basin.
