Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB) has let an engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning contract to TechnipFMC subsidiary FMC Wellhead Equipment Sdn Bhd for Limbayong field development. The contract is for a subsea production system, umbilical, riser, and flowline (SURF).
Limbayong, PCSB’s first deepwater Malaysian project, is an oil and non-associated gas field 120 km offshore Sabah in water depths of 900-1,200 m. The field consists of 10 wells which tie back to the project’s floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) unit. The subsea system is made up of SURF.
