HOUSTON, Mar. 23 -- Jordan's parliament ratified the production sharing agreement for the Azraq Block in Jordan, said Sonoran Energy Inc., Dallas.

However, Sonoran Energy previously announced a strategic decision to focus on US domestic operations in the near term and is in discussions with a partner regarding the asset in Jordan (OGJ Online, Nov. 23, 2005).
