HOUSTON, Feb. 13 -- The A-2 well in Beaver River field flowed 1.64 MMcfd of gas with 18 bbl/MMcf of water on a 12.7 mm choke and was to be placed on extended production test later this month.
Questerre Energy Corp. and Transeuro Energy Corp., Calgary, plan to connect the well and place it on production near the end of the second quarter of 2006.
The companies plan to stimulate A-6, the second of four wells planned to shallow Mattson sands, later this month.
Transeuro acquired from Questerre a copy of the 3D seismic data set over the field to assist in joint evaluation of development locations in the Mattson and Nahanni formations.
