HOUSTON, June 3 -- Total E&P Angola let a contract to CGGVeritas for the inversion of 4D seismic data over Dalia, Rosa, Girassol, and Jasmine fields off Angola.

The project will use Hampson-Russell proprietary global 4D elastic inversion software, a technology proved in the North Sea. The technique can provide quantitative estimates of reservoir properties, such as fluid saturation, with more certainty and capture the movement of fluids and changes in pressure with greater accuracy, CGGVeritas said.
