– TriDimension Energy LP, Dallas, operating as Axis Onshore LP, set production casing at the second well in one-well Honey Brake Lake field in Catahoula Parish, La.

Logs indicate that the Missiana 18-11 No. 2 well, in 5-5n-6e, 32 miles east of Alexandria, cut two commercial oil-bearing sands in Eocene Wilcox with 11 ft in net thickness gaining structure from a nearby channel sand reservoir, said 25% working interest owner Pryme Oil & Gas Ltd., Brisbane. TD is 7,000 ft.

The well is in the Four Rivers project area, which extends into Winn, Concordia, and Catahoula parishes, La., and Adams, Jefferson, and Wilkinson counties, Miss.

The well was drilled in an attempt to intersect sands of higher quality and with better structure than those encountered in the 1984 discovery well. That well is still producing oil at a low rate.
