Kentucky USA Energy Inc., London, Ky., signed a gas gathering and treatment agreement with Seminole Energy Services LLC, Tulsa, regarding Kentucky USA’s Devonian New Albany shale gas output in the Illinois basin in western Kentucky.

HOUSTON, Aug. 12
– Kentucky USA Energy Inc., London, Ky., signed a gas gathering and treatment agreement with Seminole Energy Services LLC, Tulsa, regarding Kentucky USA’s Devonian New Albany shale gas output in the Illinois basin in western Kentucky.

The companies will interconnect Kentucky USA’s gathering lines with the Olive Grove gathering and treatment facility owned by private Seminole Gas Co. LLC and Daugherty Petroleum Inc. and managed by Seminole Gas.

Kentucky USA expects to connect the systems within 30 days and sign a gas sales contract within 15 days. Volume wasn’t disclosed.
