Jericho Oil Corp., Vancouver, BC, along with its Oklahoma STACK joint venture partner, will begin drilling the Trebuchet 21-23N-10W No. 1H well. The well is the second in the Osage formation and the third within the JV’s 16,000 net acre position in northern STACK this year.

The well follows the successful completion of the Swordspear 23-10-15 No. 1H well on the border of Major and Alfalfa counties, the northern boundary of the Oklahoma STACK play. The Swordspear well, after 45 days on an electrical submersible pump, continues to produce more than 400 boe/d, 55% of which is oil (OGJ Online, July 25, 2018).

The STACK JV owns a 47.5% working interest in the Swordspear and a 48% working interest in the Trebuchet.
