The Northern Endeavour produces oil from the Laminaria and Corallina oil fields in AC/L5 in the Timor Sea off Australia.

Production was halted for 46 hours after a fire in the vessels LPG recovery system last week, causing minor damage to cabling and instrumentation (OGJ Online, Oct. 26, 2000). It resumed Friday.

Oil production has been increased to a current flow of about 140,000 b/d and is expected to level off at about 150,000 b/d until the vessels LPG recovery system is reinstated following repairs.

The investigation process into the incident is nearing completion, Woodside reported.
