Lukoil begins pilot production at field in Bolshekhetskaya depression

Lukoil started pilot production at Khalmerpayutinskoye gas condensate field of the Bolshekhetskaya depression in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District of Tyumen, Russia.

Lukoil started pilot production at Khalmerpayutinskoye gas condensate field of the Bolshekhetskaya depression in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District of Tyumen, Russia. The company set up well pad at the field and drilled two wells with daily flow rates of 395,000 cu m of natural gas and 31 tonnes of condensate.

The following facilities were constructed to gather, process, and ship hydrocarbons: a unit for treatment of marketable gas, a gas engine power plant, gas gathering systems, a methanol pipeline, and other production facilities. The field is connected to the gas transportation system of the Bolshekhetskaya depression and the temporary accommodation camp has been put into service.

Lukoil plans to drill four wells of various design at Khalmerpayutinskoye field with a decision on further field development taken after the results of the wells' commissioning and collection of geological information.
