PEDEVCO Corp., Houston, plans to begin completion operations on two horizontal Permian basin wells in mid-January and expects first production from both wells to begin by mid-February.
The company completed drilling two new wells in the targeted upper San Andres zone in the northwest shelf of the basin in eastern New Mexico.
The first well, State 402H, reached a true vertical depth (TVD) of 4,373 ft with a lateral length (MD) of 5,286 ft. The second well, State 403H, reached 4,362 ft TVD and 5,610 ft MD.
