LONDON, Jan. 22 -- AGR Group and Helix Energy Solutions Group Inc. will convert the 34,000 dwt Westralia fuel-supply ship into a floating production, storage, and offloading vessel. The partners bought the ship from the Australian government; its new name will be Shiraz.

The FPSO will be used in Southeast Asia as an early-production system or as an extended-production test vessel.

The partners have carried out an extensive feasibility study and front-end engineering design for the conversion will start immediately.
