Statoil lets contracts for work on 20 NCS installations

Statoil ASA has let two 15-year contracts to Beerenberg Corp. AS and Prezioso Linjebygg AS with an estimated value of 11 billion kroner for insulation, scaffolding, and surface treatment services for 20 of the company’s 29 installations on the Norwegian continental shelf.

Statoil ASA has let two 15-year contracts to Beerenberg Corp. AS and Prezioso Linjebygg AS with an estimated value of 11 billion kroner for insulation, scaffolding, and surface treatment services for 20 of the company’s 29 installations on the Norwegian continental shelf.

The contracts, effective in the first quarter, will replace the company’s existing contracts with the firms for NCS services, and cover the following operations: Statfjord A, B, and C; Draupner; Gullfaks A, B, and C; Oseberg C, South, and East; Heimdal; Visund; Grane; Kvitebjorn; Valemon; Heidrun; Njord A and B; Norne; and Aasta Hansteen.

Statoil also plans to extend contracts with Bilfinger Industrier Norge AS and Kaefer Energy by exercising its contract options at a later date.
