Semi runs aground during storm in Scotland

The UK Marine Accident Investigation Branch is investigating the grounding of the Transocean Winner semisubmersible on a beach in western Isle of Lewis, Scotland.

The UK Marine Accident Investigation Branch is investigating the grounding of the TransoceanWinner semisubmersible on a beach in western Isle of Lewis, Scotland.

The midwater drilling rig was under tow with no one aboard and became detached from the tug in a heavy storm.

The rig last worked off Norway.
