Premier Oil to decommission Anoa subsea wells off Indonesia

Premier Oil PLC let a field decommissioning contract to GE Oil & Gas subsidiary PT VetcoGray Indonesia to support the removal of four subsea production trees in Anoa field offshore Indonesia that were installed during the 1990s.

Premier Oil PLC let a field decommissioning contract to GE Oil & Gas subsidiary PT VetcoGray Indonesia to support the removal of four subsea production trees in Anoa field offshore Indonesia that were installed during the 1990s.

GE Oil & Gas will prepare the trees for removal, assist in removal of flowlines and production umbilicals, install intervention hot-stab assemblies, and provide annulus and flowline flanges (OGJ Online, May 9, 2007).

The decommissioning is scheduled to start next year.
