Esso Exploration Angola, an ExxonMobil affiliate, has let a 2-year contract to Valaris Ltd. for use of the VALARIS DS-9 drillship offshore Angola.
The rig is currently preservation stacked in the Canary Islands, where it will be reactivated and mobilized ahead of the anticipated contract commencement in June 2022.
