ADNOC lets tubulars, services contract

Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (ADNOC) has let a $1.9-billion, long-term contract to Tenaris for the provision of tubulars and other rig services. The contract is for 5 years with the possibility of a 2-year extension.

The contract includes the supply of various steel grades and connections to support ADNOC’s on and offshore exploration and production expansion projects.

Tenaris will expand its footprint in Abu Dhabi by installing a threading facility and upgrading its rig service center, the company said.
