Zydeco Pipeline Co. LLC, jointly owned by Shell Midstream Partners LP and Shell Pipeline Co. LP, launched a binding open season seeking commitments for non-firm capacity crude transportation service on its 350-mile pipeline from Houston and Nederland, Tex., to St. James and Clovelly, La.
Zydeco provides an outlet to alleviate transportation bottlenecks of crude oil arriving in Houston from the Eagle Ford, Permian basin, and Bakken.
Connecting to several crude oil pipelines in Houston and Port Neches-Nederland, the pipeline has a mainline capacity of 375,000 b/d.
The binding ends May 31 at noon local time.
