CGX Resources Inc., a subsidiary of CGX Energy Inc., has let a single-well contract to Rowan Cos. for the Rowan Ralph Coffman jack up rig in the Corentyne block offshore Guyana (OGJ Online, Dec. 11, 2018).
Drilling of Utakwaaka-1 is to begin on or before November 2019 with an estimated duration of 60 days. The Ralph Coffman is currently under contract with GulfSlope Energy in the US Gulf of Mexico through its current well, which is estimated to conclude mid-January 2019 (OGJ Online, July 27, 2018).
