Saturn Oil & Gas Inc., Saskatoon, Sask., has drilled and cased the first of 20 horizontal wells in a program extending through first-quarter 2019 in low-risk plays in Saskatchewan.
It will drill 17 wells targeting light oil in the Cretaceous Viking formation in properties named Kerrobert, Prairiedale, Milton, and Plato.
It also plans three wells targeting heavy oil in the Jurassic-Cretaceous Success formation at its Flaxcombe and Milton properties.
