HOUSTON, Nov. 12 -- Motiva Enterprises LLC has inked a $40 million maintenance contract with Baton Rouge-based engineering firm Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. for Motiva's upcoming fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) unit turnaround at its Convent, La., refinery in 2006.

Jacobs will provide engineering, design, and procurement services for new facilities required to meet the emission standards established in Motiva's consent decree program for the existing FCC unit.

Motiva's 235,000 b/d refinery at Convent currently has 85,000 b/d of FCC capacity.
