BG International awards Stolt Offshore contract for pipelay off Trinidad

BG International Ltd. awarded Stolt Offshore SA an $80 million contract to install 90 km of 24-in. natural gas pipeline from the Dolphin platform off eastern Trinidad to its onshore Beachfield, Trinidad, facility. The contract also includes installation of associated a 12-in. infield flowline and well control umbilical.

HOUSTON, Apr. 2 -- BG International Ltd. awarded Stolt Offshore SA an $80 million contract to install 90 km of 24-in. natural gas pipeline from the Dolphin platform off eastern Trinidad to its onshore Beachfield, Trinidad, facility. The contract also includes installation of associated a 12-in. infield flowline and well control umbilical.

Stolt Offshore's DLB 801 laybarge will install the lines in the second half of this year.
