MELBOURNE, Nov. 6 -- Woodside Petroleum Ltd. has awarded another contract for the Pluto LNG project in Western Australia to Paladio Group subsidiary Decmil Australia.

Decmil was awarded a $31 million (Aus.) construction contract for the project's central control room to be built on the Burrup Peninsula.

Decmil will construct a 2,000 sq m building to house the Pluto control room and administration offices. The contract includes construction and installation of an adjoining 320 sq m purpose-built medical facility and the in-situ foot works required for both buildings.

Work is expected to begin early in 2009.

In October Decmil was awarded a $115 million (Aus.) contract to supply and install concrete foundations and pedestals plus in-ground electrical and hydraulic services for the Pluto storage and loading facility. In September the company secured an $80 million (Aus.) contract to build site accommodation for Pluto personnel on the Burrup.
