Chris Bustamante

Chris has 33 years’ experience in the petroleum refining industry, with a variety of responsibilities including Refinery Process/Energy Consultant, Operations Manager, Technical Specialist, Process Engineer, and Business Development Manager. He has significant refinery consulting experience in energy conservation/optimization and heavy oil processing. His experience includes fluid catalytic cracking, naphtha reformer, and hydrotreater operations, oil movements, asphalt production. Chris is also experienced with overall hydrogen system management and optimization.

Additionally, Chis serves as project manager for multiple projects in the areas of improving process unit yields, reducing energy consumption, and minimizing hydrocarbon loss; and has developed an energy management program designed to maximize client profit margins while gaining yield margins and carbon dioxide carbon credits.
