Mr. Cees De Regt

Mr. Cees de Regt obtained his MsC degree in Offshore Engineering in 1984 at the University of Delft in The Netherlands. He embarked on a career in risk and safety management consulting and engineering. He worked for DNV GL for 18 years, where he held various technical, line management and project management positions across the globe. Before joining SHI in 2015, he worked for Amec Foster Wheeler for six years as their global Director of Technical and Process Safety. Since joining SHI in 2015 as Vice President Safety Engineering, Cees has actively been involved in conceptual design and preliminary FEED of Floating LNG (FLNG) and Floating GTL solutions. These have been developed in-house, often in collaboration with potential stakeholders like IOCs. Cees is a member of the Dutch Association of Professional Engineers (KIVI).
