Business Development Manager

Samy is a licensed professional engineer and a senior member of IEEE who brings more than 25 years of experience to today’s discussion. He has in-depth experience in risk assessment and electric arc hazards as pertaining to NFPA 70E, NESC, and IEEE 1584 (Guide for Performing Arc-Flash Hazard Calculations) as well as hands-on experience in power system, short circuit, protective device coordination and load flow studies and is skilled in system expansion, operation and maintenance, reliability, return on investment analysis, and other financial impact studies.

He has taught at six different universities including Boston University, Brown University, Northeastern University, and the University of Central Florida, and Samy has authored several electrical power system training programs for Boston Edison, St. Cloud and Lake Worth Electric Utilities, and ABB, Inc. He has three degrees in electrical engineering/business administration with graduate degrees from Northeastern University, Boston, MA.
