Alf Michaelsen

Originally from Stavanger, Norway, Alf now works in Aberdeen as Head of Information Management for Leidos Innovations UK Ltd. Prior to this he worked for large international organisations, such as ConocoPhillips, Marathon Oil, and BP etc., for more than 28 years, primarily in a Document / Information / Knowledge / Records Management function in several international locations (Norway, UK, Ireland, US and Russia) covering both Upstream and Downstream operations. Alf has worked on several large capital projects, including the Bruce Project in the UK; Gyda and Ula Projects in Norway and on the Alexander Kielland Drilling Rig turning project after its tragic capsize in 1980.
