Dave Macy

Dave Macy has worked with Industrial Control Systems since the late 1970s. He graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 1981 and has worked with Bailey Controls and ABB since 1983. Over this time, he has held various positions in Field Service and Technical Support. For several years, Dave has been involved with cyber security issues as this has emerged as a pressing concern for critical infrastructure and sensitive processes. He is currently the manager of the Regional Technical Advisors who have been pioneers in the creation of cyber security services for ABB control systems. Dave sits on ABB’s global Process Automation Division Cyber Security Council representing Service.
