William Taylor

Will Taylor is a 25 year veteran of the transportation industry, with particular experience in the areas of engineering, technology, and operations. His current role is Group Director of Customer Logistics, Oil & Gas, Supply Chain Solutions at Ryder System, Inc.

For the previous six years, as the Senior Director of Engineering, his team has created solutions for Oil & Gas customers that transform fragmented processes and data into a standardized flow that provides immediate visibility and savings and long-term control and continuous improvement.

Current Ryder Oil & Gas customers in both the US and Canada include 3 of the Top Multinational Exploration &Production companies, several large independent E&Ps, and various Oilfield Service Companies including Baker Hughes. Ryder also operates several hundred trucks with drivers trained in oilfield safety.

He received an Undergraduate degree in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee. He resides in the country outside of Nashville, Tennessee with his wife Sandy and their two sons.
