HOUSTON, Apr. 1 – Zeta Petroleum Ltd., London, began shooting 50 sq km of 3D seismic over Bobocu gas field in the Carpathian foredeep 125 km northeast of Bucharest and 20 km northeast of Buzau in Romania.
Goals of the survey are to enhance imaging of flow barriers and identify bypassed gas. Prospectiuni SA is expected to complete and survey in one month and process it in two months. Zeta Petroleum operates the Bobocu license with 100% interest.
