HOUSTON, July 22 – Spring Energy AS, private Oslo explorer, let a contract to PetroMarker AS, Stavanger, for an electromagnetic survey on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
The EM data, gathered with PetroMarker’s proprietary marine vertical EM technology aboard the Volstad Surveyor vessel, will provide Spring Energy with an additional evaluation tool on its prospects. The contract is signed for several locations and provides for optional work.
Spring Energy is operator of the PL 344/344 B license and participates in 23 other licenses on the NCS. Exact locations of the EM work were withheld.
